The Fred & Rheta Skelton Center for Cultural Renewal aims to do just what its name implies: renew the culture.
A culture war is just as serious as a traditional war, even more so in many cases. There is no neutral in this fight, it’s a total war for the very soul of our nation.
Religion – particularly Christianity – is at the core of society because it puts us in right relationship with God. And when we’re in right relationship with God, everything else falls into place, namely, our relationships with family, work, community, and government.

Could taking our kids to church actually improve their academic standing?
Our schools need to ditch the idea that technology can replace actual knowledge before they create a whole generation of functional and cultural illiterates.
If nothing else, we should read if only to prevent our society from going down the drain.
A simple explanation of the mentality driving much of the angst we see in today's society.
When we share books with our children, we’re not only giving them wings. We’re giving them dreams as well.
If even our brains are biologically male and female, are we merely selling ourselves a line when we say that our sex is fluid and can be what ever we feel it should be?
Our nation is divided, there is no doubt about it. But what would happen if more of us turned off the TV and the radio, if we quit or dialed-back social media, and used our time instead to “root our being,” discern wisdom, and find peace?
What does our own sloppy dress tell us about ourselves? Are we too pressed for time to dress a little up rather than way down? Are we rebelling against the idea of beauty and culture? Or are we just too lazy to pull on a pair of slacks instead of wearing the sweats we slept in?
Is it still possible to raise children who exhibit respect, work ethic, and lack of entitlement?
