Summer is winding down, but don't think that means concert season is over. Here are 10 huge concerts coming to Alabama from September to October:
Styx and REO Speedwagon
Date: September 13
Venue: Orion Amphitheater
City: Huntsville
Styx is a hard rock band from Chicago, formed in 1972 and known for its popular songs throughout the 80s, including “Mr. Roboto.” They will perform with the legendary REO Speedwagon and special guest Loverboy at Hunstville’s new Orion Amphitheater on September 13.
Jason Isbell
Date: September 15
Venue: Gogue Performing Arts Center
City: Auburn
Michael Jason Isbell is a popular singer-songwriter and former member of Drive-By Truckers who has won four Grammy Awards. He will be coming to Auburn on September 15 to perform at Auburn University’s Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center.
Zac Brown Band
Date: September 25
Venue: Oak Moutain Amphitheater
City: Pelham
The Zac Brown Band is a country music band based in Atlanta led by lead vocalist Zac Brown. The band has won multiple CMT music awards and has been nominated several times for Country Music Association Awards. They will be playing at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Pelham on September 25.
Pitbull
Date: October 7
Venue: Oak Mountain Amphitheater
City: Pelham
The Oak Mountain Amphitheater will also welcome Pitbull to Pelham on October 7. Pitbull is a professional rapper and pop artist who has sold over 25 million studio albums and 100 million singles worldwide.
Luke Bryan
Date October 14
Venue: Orion Amphitheater
City: Huntsville
Luke Bryan is one of the most successful country music artists of the 2010s and 2020s thus far and is a five-time winner of “Entertainer of the Year” from the Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association. He is one of the best-selling artists in the world, with over 75 million records sold. Bryan will be performing at Orion on October 14 with special guests Mitchell Tenpenny and Jackson Dean.
Jason Aldean
Date: October 15
Venue: Legacy Arena at BJCC
City: Birmingham
Jason Aldean will take the stage at the BJCC on October 15 as part of his Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour. Aldean is a country music artist and record producer. Of his 38 singles, 27 have reached #1 on either the Hot County Songs or Country Airplay.
Travis Tritt
Date: October 19
Venue: Tuscaloosa Amphitheater
City: Tuscaloosa
Travis Tritt is an actor, country music singer and songwriter who has charted more than 40 times on the Hot Country Songs charts with five #1 hits. Tritt has received two Grammy Awards and four awards from the Country Music Association. He will be coming to Tuscaloosa on October 19.
Koe Wetzel and Jelly Roll
Date: October 27
Venue: Legacy Arena at BJCC
City: Birmingham
Koe Wetzel is a popular Texas-born country rock artist known for his fusion of genres. He will be coming to Birmingham on October 27 with Jason DeFord, a rapper professionally known as Jelly Roll.
Stevie Nicks
Date: October 31
Venue: Orion Amphitheater
City: Huntsville
Stevie Nicks is an American singer-songwriter and the former lead singer of Fleetwood Mac. Her songs “Landslide,” “Dreams” and “Edge of Seventeen” have made it in Rolling Stone’s list of 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. She has been inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has been awarded eight Grammy Awards. Nicks will be taking the stage at Orion on October 31.
The Eagles
Date: November 21
Venue: Legacy Arena at BJCC
City: Birmingham
Known for hit songs such as “Hotel California” and “Take it to the Limit,” The Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts in North America during the 1970s. They’ve had five number-one singles and six number-one albums, and they’ve won six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards. They will be coming to the BJCC on November 21.
