Homosexuality, recently considered an aberrant and degenerate lifestyle, now has its own month of celebration, featuring festivals, parades and corporate sponsorships of the LGBTQ+ agenda.
On a recent episode of "1819 News: The Podcast," host Bryan Dawson discussed how a "Christless conservatism" has led to Pride Month, the sexual revolution and a general breakdown of family values, consuming the culture like a "metastatic cancer."
"We've gone from having anti-sodomy laws like 50 years ago to Pride Month and celebrating sodomy on a grand stage and forcing it down everyone's throats through government edict and corporate HR policies," Dawson said. "You will be made to care. Not only will you not ignore homosexuality, you're going to accept it, and you're going to freaking celebrate it, or else."
Dawson argued that building strong Christian families was foundational to reclaiming the culture.
"The way we resist this war, the way we resist Pride Month, the way we resist transgenderism, the way we resist pornography, the way we resist abortion, the way we resist all of this crazy nonsense and this filth that's been forced upon our culture is to just go back to the basics of Christians marrying other Christians and having a bunch of Christian children and training your children up in the discipline, instruction of the Lord, the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Dawson said ensuring children receive a Christian education was key, given the sinful worldviews promoted by public schools and even some private schools.
"This is how we fight back. If we would do this for the next 40 to 70 years, we win. Period. But every conservative Christian who talks about fighting back and how messed up everything is will do anything and everything but this. They will do anything and everything except take their kids out of these godless schools, and that's public or private."
He continued, "It's going to be a war to do that. It's going to be hard to take responsibility for the discipleship and education of your children. It's going to be challenging. The whole system is set up to keep you from doing it because that's the secret sauce of how we win. So, it's going to be extremely hard to do it. It's going to be a war."
