No. 14 Alabama finished off its non-conference schedule with a 102-78 win over Yale on Monday.

For the fifth time this season, the Crimson Tide scored north of 100 points. Despite missing the SEC’s leading scorer, Alabama led virtually from start to finish of the contest and will enter SEC play with a 10-3 record.

With fellow starter Philon out with injury, Aden Holloway picked up the scoring slack, dropping a game-high 26 points, tying his career high. The Alabama guard hit five three-pointers and dished out seven assists to round out his standout performance.

  1. Active on the Glass

Alabama made it a priority to improve its rebounding, and it showed on Monday night. The Crimson Tide outrebounded the Bulldogs 46-38 ,including 21-14 on the offensive glass. Alabama converted the 14 offensive rebounds into 23 second-chance points. Amari Allen and Taylor Bol Bowen both pulled down a team-high nine rebounds apiece.
