No. 23 Alabama bounced back with a 90-64 home win against Missouri on Tuesday.

Amari Allen missed a second straight game due to injury, but the Crimson Tide got a boost from Charles Bediako’s second game of the season. Alabama controlled most of the game, finishing on an 18-8 run to take a 13-point lead into the locker room. The Crimson Tide improves to 14-6 overall and 4-3 in the SEC.

Here are a few takeaways from the game.

  1. Good Start

Nate Oats sent out his 12th different starting lineup of the year, and Alabama got off to a fast start. The Crimson Tide drained nine three-pointers in the first 20 minutes while shooting 42% from the floor. The successful start rewarded Alabama with a 42-29 lead at the half. The SEC’s leading scorer, Labaron Philon, provided the Crimson Tide with 11 first-half points and five assists.

  1. Hot From the Outside

Coming off a poor performance from behind the arc, Alabama had much more success on Tuesday night. The Crimson Tide started off hot, hitting nine three-pointers in the first half. The success from the outside continued in the second half as Alabama hit six more three pointers to finish the night 15/39 from behind the arc.

  1. Career Night For Wrightsell

Latrell Wrightsell had his best game of the season, leading the Crimson Tide in scoring with 21 points. Wrightsell did most of his damage from behind the arc with a career-high seven triples. To go along with his career night, Wrightsell added five rebounds and two assists.

  1. Freebies

Unlike its counterpart, Alabama made the most of its trips to the free-throw line. The Crimson Tide shot 88% from the line, converting 23 of their 26 free throw attempts. Missouri did not have much success at the line, shooting just 35% and hitting only 8 of 23 attempts.

Alabama will travel to Florida on Sunday at 12 p.m. The game will be televised on ABC.
