No. 8 Alabama bounced back in its second game of the Players Era Festival with a 115-76 win over UNLV.

The Crimson Tide grabbed an early lead and never looked back, dominating UNLV for the entire 40 minutes. Alabama improves to 4-2 on the year and 1-1 during the Players Era Festival.

Here are a few takeaways from the game.

  1. Big Night for Holloway

Aden Holloway led all scorers with 26 points. Holloway finished the night 5-for-6 from behind the arc and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. Holloway also dished out four assists and pulled down four rebounds.

  1. Bench Provides Big Advantage

Alabama got a big lift off the bench with the non-starters providing 38 points. London Jemison led all reserves with 18 points, as well as pulling down five rebounds in his 24 minutes of playing time.

  1. Rebounding Bounces Back

Alabama did a much better job on the glass on day two than on opening night. The Crimson Tide dominated UNLV on the boards, pulling down 48 rebounds to just 28 for the Rebels. Aiden Sherrell led the way for the Crimson Tide with eight rebounds on the night.

  1. Getting to the Line

Alabama did an excellent job drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line for easy points. Alabama made their way to the line for 35 attempts and sank 29 of the attempts to finish 83% from the charity stripe. True freshman London Jemison led Alabama in attempts with seven and sank six of his attempts.

Alabama will play Maryland Wednesday night at 11 p.m. in its final game of the Players Era Festival. The game will be televised on TNT.
