The No. 16 Auburn Tigers return to action this afternoon to take on the Ole Miss Rebels on the road.

Auburn will be looking for its second straight win after beating Vanderbilt at home on Wednesday. Ole Miss has won three games in a row and most recently beat Mississippi State at home on Tuesday.

What are the biggest things to watch for during the game?

How will Auburn handle the environment?

Auburn has played in multiple hostile environments this season including two tough ones last week.

As a result of this, Auburn should appear more comfortable playing in front of road crowds and be able to handle business more so like usual.

Playing in front of crowds that are not on your side is part of the game and the best teams find ways to win in those situations.

How will Auburn do against Ole Miss' guards?

Ole Miss has a highly skilled trio of guards in Allen Flanigan, Jaylen Murray and Matthew Murrell.

Murrell leads the Rebels in scoring with 16.7 points per game, Flanigan and Murray are right behind him with 15.

Auburn will have its work cut out for it on defense as it will need to find a way to contain these three.

Will Auburn take care of the ball?

An aspect that has remained consistent in Auburn's road performances so far this season is not taking care of the ball.

The Tigers made several mental errors in their road losses to Alabama and Ole Miss last week and turned the ball over 13 times against Vanderbilt.

Ole Miss averages 8.8 steals per game so Auburn will need to avoid unforced turnovers at all costs.

Will Jaylin Williams step up for Auburn?

Auburn's veteran forward was riding a hot streak but has cooled off over the last few games.

If Auburn can get a solid performance out of him today along with Johni Broome's usual production, the Tigers will be in good shape.

Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. CT. The television broadcast can be found on SEC Network and the Auburn Sports Network broadcast can be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
