More details about the bond conditions for alleged human trafficker Arely Guzman have been released following a recent detention hearing in Huntsville.
Magistrate Judge Herman N Johnson, Jr. granted Guzman a $5,000 bond and required her to remain inside her Albertville residence except for approved travel, as a condition of her release.
She was also ordered to wear an electronic trafficking device, surrender her passport, refrain from alcohol, submit to counseling or psychiatric treatment and avoid all contact with Alex Corona, Edgard Daniel Guzman and Alejandro Santoyo-Guzman, who are allegedly connected to the same “criminal enterprise” as Guzman.
Guzman will be required to appear at the United States Courthouse in Del Rio, Texas, on a date to be determined.
Guzman was arrested on December 19, 2025, on charges of doxxing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. That arrest notified Homeland Security Investigators in Eagle Pass, Texas — where the alleged trafficking took place — of Guzman’s whereabouts.
She is also accused of aggravated shooting of an illegal alien, extortion and hostage taking in Houston, Texas, in June 2024, and assault in DeKalb County in May 2025, along with her alleged partner, Corona.
Guzman is well known in the Albertville community as a real estate agent and an outspoken critic of ICE and local law enforcement for enforcing immigration law.
