Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall called Federal Communications Commission (FCC) chairman Brendan Carr a “remarkable leader” after ABC pulled "Jimmy Kimmel Live" off the air after Kimmel lied about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Carr has said the FCC is “not done yet” with making changes to the American “media ecosystem.”
Marshall said during an interview on Fox Business Network’s "Mornings With Maria" on Friday that he supports what’s happened to remove Kimmel from his show.
“For ABC, we have a remarkable leader at the FCC who is a principled regulator who is going to enforce the laws that exist regarding our broadcast media. ABC is backtracking because they know that they were wrong, and I support what’s gone on to be able to remove him from the show,” Marshall said.
