The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) is preparing for the Super 7 State Football Championship games at Protective Stadium in Birmingham.

The 14 teams competing include six undefeated teams, four that won in 2024 and three that finished as runners-up in 2024. The games will be played December 3–5.

All games will be broadcast live on the Alabama Public Television Network and streamed live on the NFHS Network. 

Thompson High School will defend its 2024 title against Opelika. It will be Coach Mark Freeman's eighth consecutive Class 7A championship game. It will be Opelika's first time appearing in the Class 7A finals.

Wadley will be defending its 2024 state championship title in a rematch of last year's final against Maplesville.

Jackson and Mars Hill Bible will also be defending their 2024 state championship titles.

The schedule is as follows:

CLASS 1A: Wadley vs. Maplesville, Dec. 4, 3 p.m.

CLASS 2A: Coosa Christian vs. Lanett, Dec. 5, 3 p.m.

CLASS 3A: Bayside Academy vs. Mars Hill Bible, Dec. 4, 11 a.m.

CLASS 4A: Anniston vs. Jackson, Dec. 5, 11 a.m.

CLASS 5A: Moody vs. Vigor, Dec. 4, 7 p.m.

CLASS 6A: Clay-Chalkville vs. Saraland, Dec. 5, 7 p.m.

CLASS 7A: Opelika vs. Thompson, Dec. 3, 7 p.m.

The Flag Football Championship will also be played this week.
