The state of Alabama continues to boast two of the top 25 college basketball teams, according to this week's Associated Press top 25 college basketball poll.
After taking care of Jackson State on Tuesday, the Alabama Crimson Tide moved up one spot to sit at number eight in the country.
The Auburn Tigers rose three rankings to number 20 after dominating Washington last Wednesday.
Alabama travels to No. 21 Mississippi State on Wednesday in what will be the Tide's SEC opener.
Auburn also opens SEC play this week, hosting Florida on Wednesday at Neville Arena.
