The University of Alabama basketball team is back in the top five, while the Auburn basketball team continues to hang in the top 25, according to this week's Associated Press top 25 college basketball poll,

After two dominant wins, one over Ole Miss and another over blueblood Kentucky, Alabama jumped three spots to sit at No. 4 in the nation.

Auburn stumbled on the road at Georgia on Wednesday but found their footing at home Saturday against a good but injured No. 13 Arkansas team, which fell two spots in the poll. The Tigers moved up one ranking to No. 21, their 29th consecutive week in the top 25.

The Crimson Tide travel to No. 15 Arkansas on Wednesday and then host LSU at home on Saturday.

Auburn travels to Ole Miss on Tuesday and then faces off with Mississippi State at home on Saturday. The Bulldogs sit just outside of the top 25, receiving 13 poll votes this week.
