Alabama’s basketball schedule for the 2025-2026 season is starting to shape up.
Most of the non-conference schedule has already been released, and on Wednesday, the Crimson Tide learned their opponents and the location of the SEC portion of the upcoming basketball schedule.
Each SEC school will play eight home games and eight away games under the current 16-game format. The Crimson Tide’s permanent home-and-home opponents, Auburn and Mississippi State, remain the same, with their rotating home-and-home opponent being Tennessee for the upcoming season. In addition to the three home-and-home opponents, Alabama will host Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas and Texas A&M. The Crimson Tide’s away opponents will be Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
Already faced with a tough SEC schedule, Alabama boasts one of the toughest non-conference schedules for the upcoming season. In November, Alabama will play St. John’s at Madison Square Garden and host Purdue in Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide have a neutral site game against Illinois at Chicago’s United Center as well as participating in the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas.
In December, Alabama will host former assistant coach Austin Claunch and UTSA and play two neutral-site games in the state of Alabama. The Crimson Tide will play Arizona at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena in the C.M. Newton Classic, and another former assistant coach, Antoine Pettway, and Kennesaw State at Probst Arena in Huntsville. Alabama will host a third former assistant, coach Bryan Hodson, and South Florida at a date to be determined.
Alabama’s season opener will be against North Dakota on November 3 at Coleman Coliseum.
