Despite getting back in the win column, the University of Alabama football team is still plummeting in the polls.

Alabama, which escaped a trip to Tampa, Fla., with a 17-3 win over unranked South Florida on Saturday dropped three spots in this week's Associated Press top 25 college football poll to No. 13.

The Crimson Tide were No. 3 in the country before falling to Texas at home two weeks ago and have now fallen 10 spots since the loss.

Georgia and Michigan remained at first and second overall, respectively, while Texas jumped Florida State for the No. 3 ranking. Florida State now sits in fourth.

Alabama is now set to host No. 15 Ole Miss at 2:30 on Saturday. CBS will broadcast the top 15 matchup.

After taking care of in-state Samford 45-13, Auburn University's football team picked up one vote in the AP poll.

The Tigers travel to Texas A&M on Saturday in an 11:00 ESPN kickoff.
