On Monday, the Associated Press released its top 25 college basketball poll, and no teams from the state of Alabama made the cut.
The University of Alabama fell to No. 23 in last week's poll and dropped out of the poll in this week's poll after losing to Clemson.
The Crimson Tide fell out of the AP basketball poll for the first time since the end of the 2021-2022 season. Nate Oats' squad is still receiving votes to be ranked, the fifth-most outside the top 25.
Auburn University was on the brink of entering the top 25 before it lost a tough game on the road at Appalachian State on Sunday.
The Tide play host to Arkansas State on Monday night in Coleman Coliseum at 7 p.m. The game will air on SEC Network.
On Saturday, Alabama travels to Toronto, Canada, to face off with No. 4 Purdue in the Hall of Fame Series Toronto. The game tips at 12:30 p.m., and Fox will carry the broadcast.
Auburn will square off with Indiana on Saturday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Ga. The game tips at 1 p.m. and airs on ESPN.
