Our nation's Pledge of Allegiance states: “…one nation under God, indivisible...”.
From that historical basis comes the theme of the Alabama Bar Association’s Law Day 2025: "The Constitution's Promise: Out of many, one."
The official Law Day 2025 description from the Alabama Bar Association as follows:
This year’s Law Day events will take place on Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May 2, and we have attorneys across Alabama ready to help bring the legal profession to life for students statewide.
Teachers will choose from available attorney volunteers, and we will coordinate the classroom assignments. We will also have zoom sessions available for any classes who are unable to have an in-person attorney.
The attorneys will spend approximately 45 minutes engaging students with age-appropriate discussion on the legal system, this year’s Law Day theme, and the real-world work of attorneys. We look forward to celebrating Law Day with you!

At this point, teachers are needed to request an attorney for their classes here.
It’s quite a contrast. In Russia and other communist countries, the May Day celebrations and events explain communism and extoll the state. In the United States, May Day events explain the rights of citizens under our Constitutional Republic. Citizens, not comrades.
