The University of Alabama and Auburn University basketball teams both remain in the top 25 in the country.

According to this week's Associated Press top 25 college basketball poll, the Crimson Tide moved up one spot to number seven, and the Tigers, who have now appeared in 28 consecutive AP top 25 polls, dropped two spots to sit at number 22 after opening SEC play last week.

Alabama is coming off a win over a tough Mississippi State team on the road, and Auburn defeated Florida in a close game at Neville Arena last week.

The Tide play host to Ole Miss on Tuesday and unranked Kentucky on Saturday, while the Tigers travel to Georgia on Wednesday and host No. 13 Arkansas on Saturday.
