Alabama RetailPAC, the Alabama Retail Association’s state political action committee, on Thursday announced their endorsements in the gubernatorial, lieutenant governor, attorney general, Supreme Court races, and U.S. Senate race.
“The Alabama Retail Association believes these candidates understand the issues retailers face and that, if elected, these individuals will give retailers’ interests a fair hearing,” said Alabama Retail Chairman Todd Noden.
The Retail Association closely evaluates each candidate’s record and discusses the ramifications of each race before granting its endorsement.
“We are confident these candidates are the best choices for these positions,” said Alabama Retail President Rick Brown.
For the state’s constitutional offices, RetailPAC endorses:
Governor Kay Ivey
Lieutenant Governor Will Ainsworth
Attorney General Steve Marshall
For the appellate court races, RetailPAC endorses:
Associate Supreme Court Justice Kelli Wise
Associate Supreme Court Justice: Greg Cook
The Alabama Retail Association PAC also announced that it has endorsed Katie Boyd Britt in the U.S. Senate race.
Ivey, Ainsworth, Marshall, and Wise were all incumbents.
More endorsements will be forthcoming after qualifying ends.

Through sales of food, clothing, furniture, medicine and more, our 4,300 independent merchant and national company members touch almost every aspect of daily living.
Since 1943, the Alabama Retail Association has worked to promote what’s best for the retail industry in Alabama. Whether voicing the retail view when public policy is made, educating members about issues that impact them, negotiating rates for benefits and services or communicating the retail story, the Alabama Retail Association and its members are better together.
