The Associated Press has released its final top 25 college football poll of the 2022-2023 season, and two teams from Alabama finished in the top 25.
Monday night saw the Georgia Bulldogs cakewalk to winning their second national title in as many seasons, beating TCU 65-7 on the big stage. TCU finished the season as the second-ranked team, followed by Michigan at No. 3 and Ohio State at No. 4.
Alabama ended the season just outside of the top four, coming in at No. 5 in the country following a two-loss season that ended with a Sugar Bowl victory.
Another Yellowhammer State team finished the season in the top 25 for the first time in program history. The Troy Trojans capped off a stellar 12-win season to end up at No. 19 in the nation.
Troy and Georgia are the only teams on a double-digit win streak, with the Trojans on an 11-game streak to complete the season.
