No. 23 Alabama took the season-long sweep against No. 19 Troy with a 10-2 victory on Tuesday.

A hot start out of the gate with the Crimson Tide scoring seven runs in the first two innings was the difference. Alabama advances to 37-12 overall, finishing the season a perfect 13-0 in midweek matchups.

The Crimson Tide came into Tuesday’s final matchup against Troy looking to bounce back after dropping a weekend series against No. 11 Vanderbilt. After taking an early 7-0 lead after two innings, the Crimson Tide cruised to an easy midweek victory, hoping to carry the momentum into the upcoming weekend series with No. 6 Georgia.

Kade Snell led the Alabama offense with a huge night at the plate. Snell went 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBI. Garret Staton also had a big night, going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI.

JT Blackwood got the start on the mound for Alabama and pitched three shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out two batters. Aeden Finateri came in relief for Blackwood in the fourth and recorded his third win of the season, giving up one run on four hits in 2.2 innings of work.

Alabama will host Georgia for a weekend series starting on Friday at 6 p.m. The opening game can be streamed on SEC Network+.
