A two-vehicle crash on I-59 near Springville in St. Clair County ended with an Alabama Law Enforcement (ALEA) trooper and a civilian motorist in the hospital.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on Monday when a 2015 Nissan Altima struck the 2019 Dodge Charger driven by the trooper.
A spokesperson from ALEA told 1819 News that the vehicle was not in pursuit at the time of the crash.
