Small business owner State Rep. Chip Brown (R-Hollinger’s Island) announced he will seek reelection to House District 105 in 2026.
Brown has successfully passed bills since assuming office in 2018, including Aniah’s Law, seafood labeling and a tax cut for small businesses.
“From protecting the interests of the commercial seafood industry to denying bail to violent offenders to providing tax cuts for small businesses, the bills and measures I have passed are positively impacting Alabama,” Brown said. “Our work is far from finished, and I look forward to carrying the conservative banner and pushing for even more needed change during a new term in the Alabama House.”
Brown serves as chairman of the House Ports, Waterways and Intermodal Transit Committee and vice chair of the House Republican Caucus. He serves on the House Insurance Committee and the House Economic Development and Tourism Committee.
Brown is a former member of the Alabama National Guard.
