The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office removed 29 dogs from a home Tuesday, overwhelming the local animal shelter.
The home on County Road 6 was the scene of an animal hoarding case earlier this year, where 82 dogs were confiscated.
In May, the owner of the animals, Teresa Gay Counce, 71, agreed to relinquish the dogs and agreed to searches of her property without warrants as part of a plea deal to get out of 82 counts of cruelty to animals.
According to multiple reports, agents returned to the property and found the 29 dogs in deplorable conditions inside a metal shed.
The Florence Lauderdale Animal Services closed early Tuesday due to a large influx of dogs. The shelter plans to reopen on Wednesday.
Counce has not yet been charged in the latest seizure.
