The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a man 14 years after a burglary and sexual assault.
Julian Delance Poole, 34, is charged with the 2010 burglary and rape of a 77-year-old woman.
Evidence was collected at the time of the incident, but no leads were identified. Nearly 14 years later, detectives took another look due to the heinousness of the crime.
U.S. Marshals took the suspect into custody in Tennessee.
Poole is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and first-degree burglary.
He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
