During a discussion on Friday morning's episode of Huntsville, WVNN's "The Dale Jackson Show," State Sen. Arthur Orr (R-Decatur) spoke out against Democrats' continued demonization of conservatives, arguing that they should instead work to address voters' needs.

Host Dale Jackson asked the North Alabama lawmaker about the left's rhetoric regarding President Donald Trump and whether they believed what they were actually saying.

"It's all about the other side. In other words, they're just trying to destroy Donald Trump, destroy Republicans, bloviate, obliviate, whatever," Orr told Jackson. "Just stir it up. But it's all about the other side, it's not 'What are our issues? Let's focus on our issues. Let's put those out there.' Our solutions for our issues as a country."

The lawmaker also called out the liberal news media for aiding Democrats in their attacks on conservatives.

"You know, it's all about the old MAD, mutually assured destruction, and the Democrats, with their media ... they take it to new heights as far as lacking credibility," Orr stated.

"They've lost all credibility, but it's all about bashing the other side. Now they'll do token [things] trying to make themselves look bipartisan or objective or non-biased, or whatever. But people see through it. They know what angle they're trying to play, and basically, the propaganda they spout out 95% of the time."

It's not just Republicans who are being harmed by Democrats' efforts, according to Orr.

"[T]he country suffers because it's all about trying to nuke the other side," he added.
