A new license plate for Atlanta Braves fans is now available, according to the Alabama Department of Revenue.
The Braves vanity license plate has been available since March 1.
A shipment of prenumbered license plates was ordered based on the pre-commitment report numbers for each county. The following redesigned license plate categories were made available for issuance beginning March 1:
- A Pink Breast Cancer Tag
- Faulkner University
- Habitat for Humanity
- Helping Schools
- Miles College
According to the Alabama Department of Revenue, supply of license plates based on the number of current registrations in each county have been ordered and should be arriving soon. Personalized license plates (if applicable) and additional plate orders may be ordered on demand or in bulk through the Alabama Vehicle Information Network (ALVIN) system.
The organizations for the following license plate categories elected to retain their current designs. However, they will be replaced with plates with the new numbering scheme and without decal pockets. The plates will be available for issuance beginning March 1:
- Auburn University at Montgomery
- Jefferson State Community College
- Thank a Lineman
