The Atmore Police Department is offering a free presentation on the dangers of online activity among children.
The PowerPoint presentation provides parents and guardians with helpful information to prevent online child exploitation.
Police Chief Chuck Brooks said the community groups, civic organizations and churches may request the safety presentation.
"Online child exploitation and abuse is one of the most heinous and urgent threats to our children," Brooks said. "The Atmore Police Department is looking to increase public awareness of online child sexual exploitation and abuse by encouraging parents and trusted adults to start the conversation with their children through an online safety presentation."
The presentation will offer prevention tools to ensure children stay safe online and will provide advice on how to manage inappropriate content, grooming, online enticement, sextortion, sexting and cyberbullying.
