Both Auburn University and the University of Alabama basketball teams fell two spots in the Associated Press top 25 college basketball poll after losing to No. 4 Tennessee last week.

Auburn lost 94-82 at Tennessee on Wednesday but rebounded on Saturday with a 78-63 win over Mississippi State on Saturday. The Tigers dropped two spots to No. 13 in the AP poll.

Alabama blasted Ole Miss 103-88 in Oxford on Wednesday but fell to Tennessee 81-74 at home on Saturday. The Crimson Tide also fell two spots, sliding down to No. 16 in the poll.

This week, the Tigers travel to Missouri on Tuesday and then host Georgia on Saturday for Senior Day.

The Crimson Tide go to Florida on Tuesday and then hold Senior Day on Saturday while hosting Arkansas.

Entering the final week of play, both Auburn and Alabama are among six teams vying for double byes in the SEC Basketball Tournament.
