On Sunday, Auburn baseball officially earned its second-straight and sixth-overall NCAA Tournament regional host bid.
The second consecutive bid marks the first time in program history the Tigers have earned back-to-back regional host bids and the 24th time the Tigers have reached the tournament.
Monday, the Tigers learned their national seeding and opponents for their regional.
Auburn was named the No. 13 overall national seed by the NCAA selection committee. The Auburn Regional will host Southern Miss, Samford and Penn.
Should the Tigers win their regional, they would need No. 4 overall seed Clemson to lose the Clemson Regional to host the super regionals. If both Auburn and Clemson win, Auburn would play in the Clemson-hosted super regional.
An SEC-record eight teams are all hosting regionals. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, South Carolina and Vanderbilt are all hosting.
Auburn Regional games will be played from June 2-5.
Auburn is set to play Penn on Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPN+, while Southern Miss and Samford square off on Friday at 1 p.m.
