A week after getting surpassed by Alabama in the Associated Press top 25 college basketball poll, Auburn is once again ahead of its in-state rival.

Coming off a midweek bye, Auburn was able to go on the road without one of its best players to Georgia and win 97-76. The win moved Auburn up three spots to sit at No. 11 in the country.

Alabama split games with ranked opponents last week, beating No. 24 Florida 98-93 in overtime at home and then losing on the road 117-95 to now-No. 16 Kentucky.

The Tigers have their hands full this week going to No. 4 Tennessee on Wednesday in a 6 p.m. tipoff and then hosting Mississippi State on Saturday at 6 p.m. Both games air on ESPN2.

The Crimson Tide travel to Ole Miss on Wednesday for an 8 p.m. ESPN2 tipoff and then welcome No. 4 Tennessee to Coleman Coliseum on Saturday at 7 p.m. in a game that airs on ESPN.
