AUBURN — Auburn football landed a big commitment on Friday when Clay Wedin committed to the Tigers.

The four-star offensive lineman is coming to the Plains just four days after de-committing from Michigan State.

Wedin is Auburn’s third 2023 commit along the offensive line and only its second four-star offensive line commit since 2017. The 6-foot-6 and 295-pound lineman joins fellow four-star Bradyn Joiner and Gernorris Wilson on the offensive line.

Wedin, from Carrollwood Bay in Tampa, Fla., had offers from several schools including Alabama, Clemson, Tennessee and USC.

The Tigers now have 11 commits in their 2023 class, which is No. 48 nationally according to 247Sports.

The class is ranked No. 12 in the SEC, and Auburn still has the fewest commits in the conference.
