The Auburn University basketball team has found its way into the Associated Press top 25 college basketball poll for the first time this season, coming in at No. 25.
The Tigers had been receiving votes in recent polls and are now ringing in the New Year as a ranked team after a 101-66 win over Tennessee-Chattanooga.

Auburn will be back in action on Tuesday to host Penn at home inside Neville Arena at 8 p.m. and then travel to Arkansas on Saturday for a 1 p.m. tip-off to start SEC play.
Alabama received three votes in the poll, leaving them 18 spots out of the top 25.
The Crimson Tide will travel to Vanderbilt to open their SEC schedule on Saturday. Tip-off will be at 2:30 p.m.
