The Auburn University basketball team rose one spot, while the University of Alabama basketball team fell three spots in this week's Associated Press top 25 college basketball poll.

Auburn is now up to No. 12 in the country after a 101-74 win at Missouri on Tuesday and a 92-78 win over Georgia on Saturday.

Alabama lost to Florida in Gainesville 105-87 on Tuesday but then rebounded with an overtime win over Arkansas on Saturday. The Crimson Tide dropped to No. 19 in the country.

Both the Tigers and the Tide earned double byes in the SEC Basketball Tournament, to be played this week in Nashville, Tenn. The teams have to wait to know who they play on Friday, but Auburn will tip off at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while Alabama will tip off at 8:30 p.m.
