Auburn University's total undergraduate and graduate enrollment is 33,885 students for the fall semester.

According to Auburn, enrollment increased 2.6% over last year.

Pre-census semester data revealed Auburn University's full-time undergraduate enrollment is 24,953, with Alabama residents making up 62% of full-time enrolled undergraduates. The school said the total represents a 4% increase of in-state students over 2023 and the largest percentage of Alabama residents enrolled in the university's nearly 170-year history.

The university has added 110 new faculty members this semester, a net gain of 20 new educators.

"Demand for an Auburn education and our transformational student experiences has never been greater," Auburn University president Christopher B. Roberts said. "I am impressed that much of our enrollment growth is from in-state students. This highlights the university's continued commitment to recruit and educate the brightest minds from every corner of our state."

This fall's first-year class is the largest to date, with more than 3,400 Alabama residents enrolled. More than 750 new first-year students were accepted through the Auburn First dual enrollment program, which aims to provide greater access to high school students across the state.
