A Bay Minette attorney is facing an assault charge after he was accused of attacking a Bay Minette city councilman.
WKRG reported Harry Still III attacked councilman Matt Franklin at Franklin's business around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The two reportedly got into an argument over an alleged plan by the city's new mayor to fire all department heads. Still is accused of throwing Franklin on the ground and kicking him.
Still was arrested by Bay Minette police and charged with assault. He was placed in the Baldwin County Corrections Center.
Franklin was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Still is considered innocent until proven guilty.
