The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office arrested a man in connection to sex abuse and child pornography.
The Summerdale Police Department first contacted the sheriff's office in April with concerns after a victim told authorities the man had touched her in her private area while in his garage.
Upon investigation, the sheriff's office's digital forensics unit searched electronic devices, and agents said they found several hundred AI-generated images of child sexual abuse material. Investigators said the man used images of children he knew to create the images.
Brandon Michael Fry was charged with one count of sexual abuse of a child under 12 and four counts of possession of child pornography.
"During the interview Fry admitted to knowingly possessing the child sexual abuse material," the sheriff's office stated. "At this time, an additional victim of physical touching has been identified. This investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are anticipated."
Fry is considered innocent until proven guilty.
