The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office is searching for Taylor Duplesis, 26, of Daphne, who they say is "actively evading law enforcement."
Duplesis is wanted in connection to an October 22 stabbing in which a woman was stabbed at a home in the 25000 block of Pollard Road. The victim was transported to the hospital, where she underwent surgery for two stab wounds.
"Through the investigation, it was learned that Duplesis fled the scene after stabbing the victim," the sheriff's office stated. "Duplesis is actively evading law enforcement at this time."
Duplesis faces a charge of first-degree assault.
Investigators said the stabbing was an isolated incident and that Duplesis knew the victim. She is considered innocent until proven guilty.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office at (251) 937-0202.
