The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) has nominated Judy Barlow of Baldwin County as fourth vice president.

"I'm excited about this new chapter and looking forward to working with these women on behalf of all the women nationwide," Barlow told 1819 News.

Barlow is currently the chairman of the NFRW's Legislation & Research Committee. She also serves as the president of the Eastern Shore Republican Women and is a member of the Alabama Republican Party's state executive committee.

"We're a group of women across the United States with conservative values and we are concerned about our families and our future and we work towards getting women elected and supporting women in the political process," Barlow added.

The election for the 2026-27 officers will be held at the 43rd Biennial Convention in Orlando, Fla., this fall. The nominees are:

• President – Martha Jenkins (NC)

• 1st Vice President – Karen Newton (TX)

• 2nd Vice President – Lorie Legere (OK)

• 3rd Vice President – Keri Abernathy (MS)

• 4th Vice President – Judy Barlow (AL)

• Secretary – Cindy Casaus (AZ)

• Treasurer – Heidi Parker Martin (LA)
