On Wednesday, U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) announced Madison Green as his new chief of staff.

Green will replace veteran Capitol Hill staffer Shana Teehan, who will serve as incoming U.S. Rep. Julie Fedorchak's (R-N.D.) chief of staff.

Prior to assuming the chief role, Green held the deputy chief of staff and communications director positions for Moore's congressional office.

In addition to Green, Moore's office announced Marshall Macheledt will serve as deputy chief of staff and legislative director. Macheledt previously served as a senior legislative assistant for Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). According to the press release accompanying the announcement, Macheledt's responsibilities will encompass crime and law enforcement, election security, FEMA, oversight, and Second Amendment issues.

Emery Washington, a former communications staffer for the 2024 Donald J. Trump for President campaign and Moore's former digital director and press secretary, will take on the role of communications director.

Slocomb-native Taylor Keel was also elevated to legislative assistant covering Moore's Agriculture Committee portfolio.

Brittany Young, a Texas native and former staff and press assistant for outgoing U.S. Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.), will join Moore's office as a scheduler.

"I'm proud to hire and promote these talented individuals who have consistently demonstrated their commitment to serving the people of Alabama," Moore said in the release. "Their experience and understanding of our office's mission will ensure a seamless transition as they take on these new responsibilities."
