The United States has a duty to stand with Israel in its conflict with Iran, according to U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise).
Moore told One American News Network on Friday, “I've been to Israel. I've seen the area between the Gaza Strip and Israel where you literally had people who spend years tunneling under in limestone rocks six inches at a time to access their neighbors so they can kill them.”
“Iran and their proxies cannot be trusted and we know that and they're enriching uranium I mean it goes back to the Obama administration literally shipping pallets of cash to those folks and then Biden with the feckless autopen administration allowing the sanctions to be lifted that then entailed the October 6 attacks. If you look at Israel's defense systems the Iron Dome, the Iron Beam, even their their anti-armour stuff it's really defensive weapon systems. So Israel would dwell at peace with the nations around them if they could in fact, but they're constantly under attack,” Moore said. “We know now that Iran has been enriching uranium, it's at 60% enrichment and that honestly is far beyond any plausible civilian use for uranium. So we have to be concerned about what Iran's plans are. We have to trust our allies in the region. And Bibi Netanyahu said himself his responsibility is to defend the nation of Israel, the only Jewish nation in the world and in addition to protect the people. If they have intel that shows there's a concern and I understand that Iran could get to a nuclear weapon pretty rapidly with 60% enrichment. Those are things that we know these people hate. They call America the great satan. They call Israel the little satan and so they are our ally in that region and we must stand with them.”
Moore continued, “Genesis 12:3 is pretty clear, brother. If you bless Israel, you'll be blessed. If you curse Israel you will be cursed. So as a nation it's incumbent upon us as a Christian nation to stand with our ally in the region. Again, if nobody would have ever attacked Israel, there would be peace in the region but those nations and those proxy countries around those wars that they've allowed to happen, they have one full goal and that's to destroy Israel so we have a responsibility as a nation to stand with our allies. And I think President Trump is going to do that as he sees fit. He's a fantastic commander-in-chief and he pushes for peace but it's peace through strength.”
