Unofficial election returns in Bay Minette show incumbent Mayor Bob Willis losing to challenger Joshua O. Brown after 13 years in office.

Brown won with 54% of the vote. All other opposed council incumbents also lost their races.

District 4 incumbent William Taylor was defeated by challenger Tyrone Thompson, who received 62% of the votes.

District 5 incumbent Shannon Clemmons was defeated, receiving only 29% of the votes, with challenger Chris Norman winning the race.

Official canvassing of the election results will be held on September 2 at noon in the Bay Minette City Hall Council Chambers.
