Parents shouldn't drop their kids off at an upcoming event billed on social media as the "BHam City Walk Takeover" on Saturday, according to the Birmingham Police Department.
A spokesperson for the Birmingham Police Department said they're "aware of the flyer for an unauthorized event circulating on social media."

"We do not condone this event or the violence that is alluded to on the flyer. We need parents to help us by not dropping their kids off at the listed location or any other location unattended without your supervision. Parents, we need your help to assist us in keeping your kids safe along with our community members. Officers will be ready to respond to any location for the safety of anyone," the spokesperson said.
