Center Point Mayor Bobby Scott won a runoff election against council president D.M. Collins.

Scott had 484 votes, accounting for 59% of the total votes.

Collins had 334 votes.

In the August 26 election, Scott had just under 50% of the votes, leading to a runoff between him and Collins, who had 35% of the votes.

Scott was first elected in 2021. He said his record of expanding police resources and stabilizing city finances would continue.
