A bloody Donald Trump was escorted off the stage during a Saturday rally in Pennsylvania after someone appeared to fire shots at the former President.
The apparent shooting happened during a Trump rally in Butler, Pa. Several loud bangs began in the middle of his remarks before Trump grabbed his own neck and fell to the floor. Secret Service immediately rushed the stage to cover Trump as more and more shots rang out.
Trump was led off the stage with blood dripping from his ear, neck and face. While the Secret Service attempted to rush Trump off the stage, the former president demanded. “wait,” and then held up a fist to the audience, gaining him massive applause before eventually leaving the stage.
Details are still scant, but Trump appears not to be seriously injured.
Alabama lawmakers swiftly came out to ask for prayers for Trump.
