UPDATE: UPDATE: Bibb County Deputy Brad Johnson, wounded in shooting dies
UPDATE: Austin Patrick Hall captured, according to Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall.
Hall is being sought in connection with the shooting of two Bibb County Deputies on Golfer’s Trail in Brierfield around 5 p.m. Hall got away on foot.
Police say Hall is a serious threat to the public.
According to AL.com, Hall has been arrested before on 46 criminal charges.
Sheriff’s deputies were chasing a man with a stolen vehicle. The suspect got out and shot both deputies, who were rushed to UAB Hospital, arriving before 5:30 p.m.
At least one deputy is in critical condition.
