U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) slammed the Biden-Harris administration on Tuesday for its increasingly "reckless" rhetoric toward President Donald Trump and his supporters.
During an evening appearance on Fox News Channel's "The Ingraham Angle," Britt was asked if Democrats calling Trump a fascist and comparing his Madison Square Garden rally to a Nazi convention was escalating political tensions and putting Trump's life in danger.
"It is absolutely reckless," Britt said. "... We've seen this rhetoric, and they continue to dial it up. It has no place in American politics. No one should be talked to or called things like that, and they know it. They know exactly what they're doing, Laura. And it's despicable."
Trump has already survived two assassination attempts and sustained minor injuries after a bullet narrowly missed his head and grazed his ear at a rally in Pennslyvania.
Britt's comments on Fox News came after she gave a seething critique of Vice President Kamala's handling of the crisis at the southern border and how her failure to lead is putting Americans in danger.
