Central Alabama Crimestoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to a rapist.
Montgomery Police are searching for a medium-complexion black man who stands between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 6 inches. He was wearing a black T-shirt and red basketball shorts at the time of the sexual assault.
The rape happened in broad daylight at Winton Blount Park. Police said the victim was assaulted between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Anyone with information is asked to call Central Alabama Crimestoppers at 334-215-STOP. You can remain anonymous and could be eligible for the $5,000 reward.
Women in the area are encouraging other women to always walk with a partner in city parks.
