In a recent interview with Jewish News Syndicate in Israel, Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl heaped praise on President Donald Trump for his efforts to support Israel and his patience amid the ongoing war in Gaza.

Pearl said there was "no greater president" in U.S. history when it comes to supporting Israel than Trump, adding that he had "made every right move."

"There's been no greater president in the history of our country than Donald Trump supporting the state of Israel," Pearl asserted. "He's made every right move, and he's got elements in his party that don't always agree with him — the America Only folks versus the America First folks. He's fighting that battle, and he's winning that battle, thank God, you know, for Israel."

He went on to argue that Trump deserved a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts.

"He should get it," Pearl stated. "The job that, obviously, he's done."

The Jewish basketball coach went on to acknowledge that the world was getting "fatigued" with the war in Gaza

"[I] want to thank President Trump for his patience, because he wanted to come in, he wanted to solve the problems in Ukraine, he wanted this over in Gaza right away, and to his credit, he's recognized the incredible challenge of how do we finish this and finish Hamas and still get our hostages back."
