Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl didn't mince words after a close win over Ole Miss in Friday’s SEC basketball tournament quarterfinal game at Bridgestone Arena.
Pearl's top-seeded Tigers defeated the No. 8 seed Rebels 62-57, and he was proud of his guard play after the game.

While on the ESPN set discussing the game, Pearl said his guards weren't "p*ssies."
“The key to our 3-point defense is I’ve got bigs that can go out there and guard guards. I’ve got bigs that can get out there and guard guards, and my guards aren’t p*ssies,” Pearl declared. “They’re willing to go down there and bang a little bit..."
The ESPN crew gave Pearl a hard time over his language, and the coach joked that Disney wasn't the one writing his checks.
