At a time of national political division, Alabama is leading the way in electing true conservative patriots, according ot 1819 News CEO Bryan Dawson.

Dawson analyzed the recent Republican primary races on the latest episode of “1819 News: The Podcast,” explaining how the winners are part of a “populist uprising.”

From U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) likely becoming Alabama’s next governor, U.S. to Rep. Barry Moore’s (R-Enterprise) U.S. Senate win, John Wahl’s lieutenant governor victory, and Katherine Robertson’s attorney general race, Dawson said a “conservative wave” is reshaping state politics.

“Read the tea leaves. Patriots are in control. There's a populist uprising happening right now in the state of Alabama. So, the next legislative session, you need to remember the people are watching. And if you're a patriot, you can't lose,” Dawson said.

Like much of America, Dawson explained how Alabama is facing “civilizational enemies,” be it DEI, Islam, LGBTQ+ issues or the Alabama Education Association, all bent on overthrowing Christian values and cultural norms.

“The people who won bigly, specifically at the statewide level, are people who understand what time it is, and they're people who understand who the civilizational enemies are… the Communists, the radical Islamists that are trying to bring the type of Islamification you're seeing over in Britain and in Dearbornne and in Minneapolis. Those people are civilizational enemies. So, the Communists. And for us here in the state… Any of these corporations that are starting to bend the knee to critical race theory DEI and ESG, they are participating and becoming civilizational enemies. So that's your communist.”

Dawson continued, “This is a critical moment in Western civilization where we're on the brink of it being at its end and we need to do something drastic if we're going to maintain it, if we're going to preserve and advance our way of life and our civilization. The people that are winning are people who understand that, and they know who the civilizational enemies are and they're willing to do what it takes to hold the line but also advance.”

Though the battle may be daunting, Dawson said these recent elections should embolden people to not give up the fight.

“What we needed to do is engage the people in the politics so the politics would begin to reflect the people so that we could be that outpost of freedom, that shining city on a hill, that example to the rest of the nation of what conservative governance can and should look like. That is what I believe that we are seeing, beyond forming; it's now. This is huge. That's what this means to me: the vision we had of Alabama as an outpost of freedom is being established, and we're going to be that. We're going to be that. So be encouraged. Don't black pill. Don't be negative. The sky is not falling. The wind is at our back. It's filling our sails. We need to march forth. We can't waste this blessing that God has given us. We need to push now with everything we have… We're going to win. We have to take advantage of this opportunity.”
